Health and social services at Te Roopu:

Mirimiri

Encompasses traditional Māori massage techniques  incorporating wairua. The focus is on tissue, muscle, bone and blood as well as spiritual wellbeing.

Affordable GP and Nurse Consultations.

Dunedin Community Health facilitate truly low-cost GP and nurse consultations and a host of other healthcare services within the Te Roopu complex designed to support those with limited resources who may not be able to afford standard general practice fees.

Whanau Ora Services

Our team of Kaitūwhana (advocates) help connect tangata whaiora (those seeking guidance) with the services that they require to be well and have tino rangatiratanga (control over their lives). They provide support, guidance and connection to the community and te ao Māori (the Māori world).

Immunisation Clinic for Baby and Child

For milestone or catch-up immunisations. Whānau focused and safe. Saturday 10am to 2pm. Walk-ins welcome. Evening outreach available.

Kaumatūa Group

Weekly sessions where kaumatua gather, play ukelele, sing and share a meal.

Women's Health Clinic

Saturday 10am to 2pm or by appointment.

A Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP) is here to support your hauora (your overall wellbeing) in a way that respects your values and connections. HIP’s can help with everyday challenges, offering practical tools and support.

Te Ratonga Kano Ārai Mate mō ngā Pēpi me ngā Tamariki
